National Parken – We komen eraan!

We really fell in love with America's National Parks in 2008. Nature is overwhelming, the roads are set up for RVs and you can stop in lots of places to enjoy the view and spot wildlife. You put your chairs outside, grab a drink and can sit and watch for hours undisturbed.

Wildlife spotting can be done at any hour of the day, but the best chance is to drive very early in the morning. In Yellowstone, for example, you can hear a heavy humming and then suddenly you drive at walking pace past a herd of bison or see a Grizzly with little ones walking on the roadside. The campgrounds in the National Parks are government owned. These can be booked for about $20 a night. You are really in the middle of nature. In Rocky Mountains national park it is so dark that you can see thousands of stars bright in the sky. On the National Park Service website, van de National Park Service is per staat – informatie over de parken en de campings beschikbaar.

Healthy nature

Staying in national parks has many advantages. Nature there is pure, there is no highway, the air is pure, it smells wonderful, there are no stimuli and your brain becomes calm.
