Typically American and Canadian

Last times we were in America, we visited the Harley Davidson factory, the Jack Daniels factory, the Anheuser Busch brewery (largest in the world), the Boeing factories and Nasa, among others. We found it very special to get an inside look at these great companies.

We think it would be really fun to attend an event this time. If we are in the area, we want to go to the Calgary Stampede. An annual festival where all kinds of natives, among others, show off their skills for a week. A visit to Burning man lijkt ons ook gaaf. Alhoewel onze kinderen zeggen, dat dit misschien te “heftig” voor ons is. Misschien bezoeken we de Indy 500, an NBA, an ice hockey or American football game or anything else that is typically American or Canadian. 

What we may find even more interesting are the local events. For each state we visit we will see what is characteristic of that particular region. As long as it is something that we can't easily experience in the Netherlands and Europe. We'll see what crosses our path!

For this reason, attending a fun American/Canadian event with inspiring people is on our 2023 bucket list.
